Interventional Radiologist

The Department of Medical Imaging at PRHC is currently recruiting a fellowship-trained Vascular Interventional Radiologist (IR) for a full time permanent position. The successful candidate will join a group of 14 Radiologists, and practice in a facility with 2 well-equipped state of the art interventional suites. PRHC is the vascular centre for the LHIN, with a busy vascular practice A broad range of additional procedures are preformed, including biopsies, GU, GI, dialysis and biliary interventions. We provide diagnostic imaging services for the Ross Memorial hospital in Lindsay, Campbellford Memorial Hospital as well as satellite coverage of Minden and Haliburton hospitals.

Position Qualifications and Duties:
- Currently registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Fellow Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with a current Ontario license for Diagnostic Imaging
- Strong clinical training and experience in Vascular Interventional Radiology
- Experience in all major modalities, including fluoroscopy, US, CT, and MRI
- Demonstrated analytical ability
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with physicians, nursing staff, patients, directors, managers, and the community as required
- Actively encourage a spirit of co-operation amongst team members
- Eligible for active staff privileges at Peterborough Regional Health Centre
- Participate in on-call roster
- Evidence of ongoing continued medical education
