WHAT WE OFFER
The hand therapy program provides rehabilitation for patients with hand and wrist problems following a hand injury, surgery or a procedure that affects hand function. Hand therapists provide assessment and therapeutic interventions to prevent dysfunction, restore function and help reverse or delay progression of pathology of the upper limb. Education, therapeutic exercise, wound/scar care and custom splinting are all interventions used to help patients return to participation in everyday activities.
The team consists of occupational therapists and physiotherapists with consultation to plastic and orthopedic surgeons.
