WHAT WE OFFER
The Pain Clinic is part of Peterborough Regional Health Centre’s (PRHC) Medical Outpatients department, and provides pain management services – patient evaluation and therapeutic treatment – to patients experiencing chronic pain related to a wide variety of medical issues, or physical injuries.
The primary treatment offered to PRHC Pain Clinic patients is an epidural steroid injection for back and leg pain. The clinic may also coordinate patients with other hospitals or community services to assist with their conditions.

To qualify for the Pain Clinic at PRHC, patients must be experiencing chronic pain. Note that the wait time to become a patient in the Pain Clinic is currently one year.
HOW TO REFER TO THE PAIN CLINIC
Please have your healthcare provider fax your referral to the PRHC Central Booking Office. All referrals must be faxed to the Central Booking Office for triage by an Anesthesiologist.
