WHAT WE OFFER
The Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Laboratory performs a wide variety of breathing tests that help in the assessment of how well the lungs are working.
Results from these breathing tests provide valuable information for healthcare providers in diagnosing and directing treatments for a wide variety of breathing or lung disorders.
A Registered Respiratory Therapist will perform the specifically ordered test and our team of respirologists will provide detailed interpretation of the results for referring providers. Tests can vary in length depending on the tests ordered by your healthcare provider but typically range from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. Once the test is completed, the results will be sent to the referring provider and they will be able to discuss the results with you.
