Accreditation Seal logoAlong with being the District Stroke Centre for HKPR, PRHC has been awarded Stroke Distinction by Accreditation Canada since 2018. This program involves rigorous assessment against nationally recognized Canadian Stroke Best Practices. To achieve Stroke Distinction an organization must meet targets for stroke specific indicators and protocols, demonstrate targeted client and family education materials as well as produce a project demonstrating excellence and innovation in stroke care. This commitment to high quality stroke services is evaluated every four years by surveyors from Accreditation Canada.
