PRHC's Operating Rooms are staffed 24 hours per day, with emergency procedures done after 11pm. We perform both inpatient and outpatient surgery. 

The Nurses in the Operating rooms are specially trained individuals who respond to the complex and changing needs of patients before, during, and after their surgery. They focus on identifying and meeting the individual needs of surgical patients. They work collaboratively with the team of Surgeons, Anesthetists, respiratory therapists, surgical suite assistants, and clerical staff to provide the best possible care for our patients. There are both Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses working in the operating room.
