Throughout the hospital however, new equipment is needed to help save and improve lives. Medical technology advances at an ever-accelerating rate and it is only through continued support from the entire community that PRHC can invest in the tools that directly improve patient care and recovery. As Canadians, we expect the highest quality health care. But it takes a collective effort on the part of everyone to achieve it. The practical reality is that governments fund only a portion of what hospitals require in order to provide the best possible care to their patients. The PRHC Foundation works to inspire support throughout the region to provide the professionals at PRHC with the tools they need to ease pain, restore health and save lives.
